10-Minute Keto Toast

One of the things folks miss most on the Keto diet is bread — including toast.

Maybe you’ve been missing a good slice of toast slathered with butter for breakfast. Or toasted sandwiches.

This tasty Keto toast doesn’t take much longer to make than popping slices of that old store-bought white bread in a toaster. But it’s better — and so much better for you.

Isn’t it great to know you can now eat delicious morning toast (or toasted sandwiches) without kicking yourself out of ketosis? ‘Cause this toast is Keto friendly!

Ingredients

1/3 cup almond flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 whisked egg
2.5 Tablespoons melted ghee

Preparation

1. Preheat your oven to 400 F .
2. Put all bread ingredients in a microwavable mug and mix thoroughly.
3. Put the mug in your microwave and microwave high for 90 seconds.
4. Allow the bread cool a few minutes, then pop out of the mug and slice into 4.
5. Arrange slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 4 minutes.
6. It’s really tasty with some added ghee!
